When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you enroll in courses, we record which courses you have accessed. We do not collect payment card data directly — payments are processed by third-party gateways. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and analytics purposes.
We use your information to: • Provide access to purchased courses and track your progress • Send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, course updates) • Improve the platform based on aggregate usage patterns • Measure website usage, campaign performance, and the effectiveness of our communications • Detect, diagnose, and prevent technical errors, abuse, and security incidents • Respond to support requests We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
EdVube and our service providers use cookies, browser localStorage, pixels, and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember course progress and preferences, understand how the site is used, measure campaign performance, and identify technical problems. These technologies may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser details, identifiers, referring page, pages viewed, interactions, and approximate location. Depending on the services enabled, some cookies or identifiers may be used for analytics or advertising measurement. You can block or delete cookies using your browser settings. Doing so may affect login, course progress, payments, or other site features. You can also use the privacy and advertising controls offered by Google, Meta, and Microsoft.
Your data is stored on servers located in India. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit. Passwords are never stored in plain text. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
We use the following third-party services that may receive limited data: • Firebase Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure visits, navigation, and website performance • Meta Pixel to measure advertising and campaign performance • Microsoft Clarity to understand site usage and improve user experience • Sentry to detect and diagnose application errors • Zoho Payments and other enabled payment providers to process course purchases • YouTube for embedded course preview videos • Telegram for community features These providers process information under their own privacy policies and may process it in countries outside India. We do not receive or store your complete payment card details.
You have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate data • Request deletion of your account and associated data • Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent • Lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@edvube.in. You may also control cookies through your browser and adjust advertising preferences directly with Google, Meta, and Microsoft.
EdVube is not intended for children who cannot lawfully consent to data processing under applicable law without permission from a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children without the required permission. If you believe a child has provided us with their data improperly, contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date below and notify enrolled users by email for material changes.
